Meet Chantal!
Mom of five, kid-whisperer, and the heart behind Artsy Bugsy. With a background in HR and Marketing from Monash University, she brings both structure and soul to the studio.
When she’s not cheering on little artists, you’ll find her hunting down good food, catching musicals, or soaking up every moment with her kids.
Chantal loves watching our students grow up with us—one doodle, splash, and masterpiece at a time.

When she’s not guiding little artists in the studio, you’ll find her lifting at the gym, singing her heart out, or creating magic behind the camera with her video edits.

Say hi to Teacher Firdaus!
Hailing from Malaysia, Teacher Firdaus brings over 7 years of experience in art education, with a strong focus on portfolio preparation and fine art teaching at diploma level.
He specialises in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
Outside the studio, he loves spending quality time with his kids, catching action movies, and enjoying spicy food!
Teacher Firdaus holds a Degree in Fine Arts from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Meet Teacher Karina!
After spending 9 years in Finland, Karina brings a cool Nordic calm to the studio—balanced by her fiery love for spicy food!
She claims to love dogs and children equally (we’ll let you decide 😄).
With a Master’s in Visual Studies and Art Education from Aalto University in Finland and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from LASALLE Singapore, Teacher Karina’s got both the heart and the art smarts to inspire every student.

A NAFA Interactive Media major with a flair for fun, she’s a self-declared Horizontal Enthusiast (naps are an art form!), a Tastebud Explorer always on the hunt for new bites, and a Whimsy Maker who brings joy and creativity into every class.
(She is also the Studio Clown and never fails to make everyone around her laugh!)

Originally from Vietnam, Teacher Kate brings her love for all things pink 💗 and passion for digital art and watercolour into every class.
She’s a spicy food enthusiast (Mala is her love language 😋) and proudly embraces her #ADHD superpowers!
Teacher Kate holds a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Saigon Technology University.

Meet Teacher Suhaimi!
Hailing from Malaysia, Teacher Suhaimi is a proud Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.
A true ailurophile (that’s a fancy word for cat lover 😺) and outdoor enthusiast, he finds inspiration both in nature and the studio.
When he’s not creating art, you’ll probably find him out camping under the stars or chilling with his feline friends.

Meet Teacher Chanyoung!
Originally from Korea, Chanyoung’s creative journey has taken her from Malaysia to Singapore, where she graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from LASALLE.
She’s inspired by all things nature—think cats, flowers, and tiny creatures (just not the pesky kind!).
When she’s not making art, you’ll find her strumming on her guitar, knitting up something crafty, or happily snacking on chocolate and chicken (nom nom!).
Her gentle spirit and love for all things handmade bring a special touch to every class.

Artsy Bugsy was founded by two friends (who became sisters)—one mom and one amazing art educator—who came together to create a cosy, happy space where creativity flows and everyone feels welcome.
Together, they created a cosy studio that celebrates inclusivity, positivity, and the freedom to explore artistic expression at any age.
Today, the studio is helmed by Chantal, a hands-on mom of five, who has personally witnessed how art nurtures her children’s imagination, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The heart of our studio’s creative direction was shaped by Sharmaine, whose passion lies in empowering children through art. Though she now lives in New Zealand, her vision continues to guide our talented team in every class we teach.
